This minimalist brass incense holder is designed by artisan Masataka Sumitani of Hakuhodo Sumitani Saburo Shōten, a metalwork atelier founded in 1939 in Japan's historic metalwork town of Takaoka.

Crafted from solid brass, the weighted ball sits atop a separate base and can be positioned at any angle, allowing you to orient the incense stick as you wish.

The ball features two differing diameter holes suitable for either Japanese or Indian incense. 

Place on a tray to collect the ashes.
